About the event
The incidence of skin cancer is growing due to climate change and lifestyle factors. Yet there is lack of teaching about skin cancer in the med school curriculum and dermatology teaching in general.
Join Sophika, a second year medical student who is currently an ambassador for Skcin Charity, as she discusses how as medical students you can help to prevent and detect skin cancer and explore treatment options. This session is catered for all years. Whether you’re interested in Dermatology, Oncology or General Practice (specialities that see vast amounts of skin cancer cases) or just want to learn about skin cancer - please do come along!
